LOVE...

Shirt, Zara // YSL ring // Skirt, Missguided // Vintage boots // Vintage bird ring
Hi Lovelies

Hope you are all enjoying your summer where ever you are. In London, we've have seen nothing but rain. However, my summer was recently brightened up by my new YSL Iconic Arty ring... isn't she lovely?  And by my mustard skirt I bought a few weeks back. I've been looking for a reasonably priced, bright coloured pleated skirt for a while and this one totally fitted the bill. So I didn't think twice about making my FIRST online fashion purchase!  I'm usually a "try before I buy" kinda gal, but I think I’ve been converted.

Oh, and I  made the Braided Hex Nut Bracelet above. My sister recently introduced me to the fabulous site Honestly wtf, who have the most ingenious fashion DIY ideas.

One last thing, our recent LA collection is selling like hot cakes but we still have some pieces left, which you shop for HERE. We're planning our next photo shoot very soon, so watch this space.

Isle of Wight Festival - Part 2

Hey lovelies

It seems an age since the Isle of Wight Festival and its been quite a task going through all the pictures we took, but anyway here they are... FINALLY!

IoW was a truly amazing experience and although my sister has been working on the festival for seven years, its was my first time.  It was actually now or never as she's moving onto pastures new - career wise. So i thought it was definitely time to take advantage of the VIP treatment, which by the way was tremendous, and definitely a different way to experience a festival.

Now for the stand out music - The Foo Fighters were epic, truly one of the most iconic rock bands of our generation, and we had the pleasure of meeting Dave Grohl, and was well just... EPIC!   Seasick Steve was fabulous in equal measure - funny, captivating, entertaining and when we met him he couldn't stop telling us how hungry he was after his stunning performance.    In the Big Top, Chase and Status blow us away literally - the tent was beyond capacity and spilled out into the field. They stopped mid set to calm down the much hyped crowd, before revving us all up again.   My new discovery was the led singer of Jessie and the Orbits - her voice is beyond this world, and her sassiness and commanding performance kept us dancing in the small tent for what seemed like ages.

Jody and I, having a laugh in the VIP area.
Not sure what Jeevan is doing here... think its a new dance move!
Calmness before the revellers arrive.
Jessie and the Orbits - We couldn't stop dancing and totally fell in love her voice.

The lovely Dave Grohl - The Foo Fighters.
Seasick Steve - whose set was absolutely sick.
The unconquerable Boy George

Festival Chic - Isle of Wight Part 1

As well as some amazing bands and sounds (more to details to follow in Part 2) there were some equally stunning fashion, and fortunately I was able to take some pics before the downpour set in on Sunday.  There was a distinct sixties/seventies revival going on at the festival - billowing maxi dresses/skirts, fringe tees, masses upon masses of daisy chain headbands, short short tiny (I mean female budgie smugglers!) cut off demin shorts and the obligatory fancy dress (this was a big theme for the boys).

Any of you going to a festival this summer, what will you be rocking? It'll be nice to see what are followers are wearing and maybe we'll dedicate a blog post to you all.

Summer Ready.

Hey Lovelies,

These are the final pieces from our recent summer collection shoot - some of the pics really take you back to the 70s, don't you think? When I was thrifting in LA I was drawn to pieces from that era. Maybe it's because 70s inspired fashion was splashed all over the magazines or perhaps it's the S/S catwalk collections (YSL, Marc Jacobs, Anna Sui, Louis Vuitton) that I drooled over back in the Autumn. With the festival season well and truly here, I think many of our pieces will be perfect for festival chic, and you can shop them HERE.

In other news, the Isle of Wight festival was sensational, we had so much fun and i took a load of pictures but I'll share those in our next post.
