Pretty in Pink, Purple, orange, blue.....

Hey lovelies,

We are super excited about our recent shoot - apologies it taken so long; everyone has been beyond busy with normal life and the many distractions London has to offer, but that's for another post. Without further ado, we can finally bring you some of the gems we brought back from LA.

The order of the day was colour, and I hesitate to use the phrase "colour blocking".  This  phrase has been bantered around so much in the last few months that I almost feel embarrassed using it, so apologies again... there was some colour blocking, gorgeous jumpsuits in an array of colours and the pièce de résistance… divine vintage dresses.

I have to say my favourite piece is the hot pink/fuchsia silk dress; its so soft and I wanted to melt right into it when I tried it on! What's your favourite?

Oh, you might see we have a new model alongside our MUSE, Jody. I roped in my gorgeous friend Jojo - not only was she an Olympic athlete but is an amazing singer/song writer and I’m sure you will agree, a fantastic model too.

One last thing, its been a while since we've done a giveaway, so we were thinking of gifting one of our lucky followers one of our vintage dresses, not sure which one though, any thoughts? Although there are more stunning dresses to come.

Our love of Spring

Hi Lovlies,

We've become quite the pros at this photo shoot stuff. In the beginning, we barely knew where to start, but we all know our roles and how to inject some fun into the day. After a long and miserable winter my love affair with London has been well and truly revived . There definitely seemed to be a spring in everyone's step in London, the whole aura of Londoners change when the sun makes its unlikely appearance and it certainly did last Saturday. It really made shooting these gorgeous spring/summer dresses for ASOS Marketplace a joy.

One last thing, I've just arrived in LA. Some of you may or may not know that I'm an athlete, a sprinter to be precise, and I'm going there for what we in the athletics world call; 'warm weather training'. Although, it hasn't been too hot but the weather is slightly getting better. Apologises in advanced for pictures of myself and my training partners in crop tops and shorts; that's what we tend to live in when we are away.

But there will be some thrifting done and if i have my way there will be a lot of vintage shopping, flea markets, estate sales and hopefully i will be able to bring you back some goodies.

Tartan and More.

Tartan, you either love it or hate it! I myself lean towards the former… I love, love, love, j’adore tartan. I’ve got a particular tartan dress I can't bare to part with. I bought the dress when I was 15, which by the way still fits  - as long as I have someone at hand to zip me in, don’t eat, breathe or need the ladies room!

OUR MUSE IN RED and BLACK.

Last weekend we had the pleasure of enlisting Celine Allano, photographer extraordinaire, she took some beautiful pictures for our collection on ASOS MARKETPLACE.  As I am usually the one who has the job of photographer, I was pleased to have a professional to show me how it should really be done. Celine gave me some great tips; hopefully now my pictures will come up to scratch.  The location was perfect, although the weather was beyond cold, so a big thank you to Celine and Jody, our muse.
