Hi from LA

Hey Lovelies,

Loving LA, its great to train in the sun, although the weather has been a bit bio-polar but I'm sure its better than London! Training is going well, hopefully i will be racing next week, fingers crossed.

I had my first In-N-Out burger in 2years, for those of you who have never heard of In-N-Out burger, its the best burger and fries I have ever tasted! Unfortunately the burger chain is only in California, so if you are ever in the neighbourhood, its a must.

 I haven't been able to do any thrifting, its been all about training but hopefully get some done in the next few weeks.

Festival Fashion.

Hey Lovelies,

The Isle of Wight festival kick starts the festival season, which really marks the start of the summer for me. My office is a buzz with everything Isle of Wight at the moment, as we've got an amazing line up this year. I'm so lucky, I have the best job - I’m an agent for one of the most amazing festivals in the world!

 

What I really look forward to is festival fashion. You’re guaranteed to see cool chicks rocking superb vintage threads, as well as some avant-garde fashion; really great inspiration.

 

And on that theme, our recent photo shoot was inspired by festival fashion – such as boho maxi skirts and dresses. My particular favourite is the beige crochet maxi dress, this look is totally boho glam when teamed with sandals and a floppy straw hat. You’re definitely ready to kick off the festival season in this outfit.

Our love of Spring

Hi Lovlies,

We've become quite the pros at this photo shoot stuff. In the beginning, we barely knew where to start, but we all know our roles and how to inject some fun into the day. After a long and miserable winter my love affair with London has been well and truly revived . There definitely seemed to be a spring in everyone's step in London, the whole aura of Londoners change when the sun makes its unlikely appearance and it certainly did last Saturday. It really made shooting these gorgeous spring/summer dresses for ASOS Marketplace a joy.

One last thing, I've just arrived in LA. Some of you may or may not know that I'm an athlete, a sprinter to be precise, and I'm going there for what we in the athletics world call; 'warm weather training'. Although, it hasn't been too hot but the weather is slightly getting better. Apologises in advanced for pictures of myself and my training partners in crop tops and shorts; that's what we tend to live in when we are away.

But there will be some thrifting done and if i have my way there will be a lot of vintage shopping, flea markets, estate sales and hopefully i will be able to bring you back some goodies.

Street Heart

The Long month of fashion week is finally at an end, with some high drama and equally fabulous clothes, but i have to admit I've been more interested in the street styles of New York/London/Milan/Paris, well at times, than what's been strutting down the catwalks. I really appreciate talented street style photographers who keep us in the know of the styles that's stalking the streets of fashion weeks, such photographers as; Street Peeper, Michelle Bobb Parris, Face Hunter, Nobody Knows Marc, Frou Frouu, Vanessa Jackman, to name a few.
