As some of you will know I’ve become quite an upcycling/DIY fanatic, click here and here to see my other up cycling/DIY attempts. I bought this choker in South Africa years ago, let’s put it down to peer pressure as I’ve never actually worn it!
So, when I saw one of my fav DIY blogger A PAIR AND A SPARE's Sass and Bide inspired neon necklace (check out here), I thought this choker would be perfect for a bit of upcycing. I love the outcome and I'll definitely be wearing it, I'll do an outfit post with it soon.
It's really easy, all you need is:
- necklace or piece you want to upcycle
- neon and white paint spray
How to:
- I would suggest you go outside to spray your piece
- lay it down flat on newspaper and spray with the white paint spray first and leave it to dry first before spraying the neon paint - leave a few minutes between sprays so the paint doesn't pool.
